Remuneration will be paid to the researcher according to the total annual amount of research funding received, equivalent in U.S dollars in accordance with the limits set by the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the Council for Higher Education, as follows:
Remuneration for conducting research "A":
A faculty member will be entitled to remuneration for conducting research according to the following:
- If the total funding from grants received are less than $ 10,038 in a calendar year, no remuneration will be given.
- If the total funding from grants received are between $ 10,039 and $ 80,303 in a calendar year, the remuneration will not exceed 31% of their annual salary.
- If the total funding from grants received are between $ 80,304 and $ 125,475 in a calendar year, the remuneration will not exceed 41% of their annual salary.
- If the total funding from grants received are above $125,476 in a calendar year, the remuneration will not exceed 51% of their annual salary.
Remuneration for conducting research "B":
A faculty member will be entitled to remuneration for conducting research according to the following:
- If the total funding from grants received are less than $ 10,038 in a calendar year, no remuneration will be given.
- If the total funding from grants received are between $ 10,039 and $ 20,076 in a calendar year, the remuneration will not exceed 6% of their annual salary.
- If the total funding from grants received are between $ 20,077 and $ 33,460 in a calendar year, the remuneration will not exceed 12% of their annual salary.
- If the total funding from grants received are between $ 33,461 and $ 75,285 in a calendar year, the remuneration will not exceed 20% of their annual salary.
- If the total funding from grants received are above $75,286 in a calendar year, the remuneration will not exceed 25% of their annual salary.
