During the Grant Agreement Preparations, the PI must choose a start date for the project. There are two options for start date:

1. The first day of the month following the signature of the agreement by both parties. This is the earliest date possible.
2. A later “fixed” start date on the first day of the month as agreed between the PI and the EU. In this case, the PI will be required to provide a justification.
