Why is there an internal submission deadline for the R&D Authority?

 

Submissions of research proposals involve a great deal of work by the researchers and by the R&D Authority. An examination by the R&D Authority is required  for several reasons: The Authority approves the research proposals and signs the submissions after examining the funder's terms, the budget, and the accompanying agreements, sometimes with the involvement of the University Legal Department. An internal submission deadline is intended to give the R&D Authority the time to process the proposals before they are submitted
